All the treatments provided in the studio are based on the fundamental principles of conservation: respect of the piece of art, its history and of its constituent materials.
Furthermore all our treatments are meant to:
- Improve the visual appearance of the work of art while leaving
visible interventions if necessary
- To be reversible: any intervention must be removed at any time
without harming the original
- To be compatible: A material is compatible from the time
it does not cause instability to other original materials
- To be stable : the components of all the materials used do not alter within time
